How to Perform Istikhara
- Perform Wudu: Ensure you are in a state of cleanliness by doing ablution (Wudu).
- Pray Two Rakat: Offer two units (Rakat) of non-obligatory prayer with the intention of seeking guidance (Istikhara).
- Recite Istikhara Dua: After completing the prayer, recite the Istikhara supplication. If you don’t know the Arabic, you can read the translation in your language.
- Make Your Intention: Clearly think about the decision or matter for which you are seeking guidance.
- Trust Allah’s Guidance: After the Istikhara, trust that Allah will guide you toward what is best for you, either through a feeling of ease or through the unfolding of events.

اللَّهُمَّ خِرْ لِي وَاخْتَرْ لِي، وَاقْدُرْ لِيَ الخَيْرَ حَيْثُ كَانَ، ثُمَّ أَرْضِنِي بِهِ
